Read Gate Mag 59

The new issue of Gate Magazine is now available – the bilingual free press magazine distributed in Rome’s airports and the Duty Free shops of Milan airports – Malpensa and Linate – as well as Bergamo, Treviso, Venice, Bologna and Naples. You can also read it online at this link.

In our Italia Slow Tour column we dedicate a feature to the Slow Tour Ambassador format, a series of new videos about Italian destinations that are hosted not by Patrizio and Syusy, but in the spirit of Patrizio and Syusy, by some of our accomplices, the Ambassadors. Videos you can watch for free, along with much more, on Per Caso TV.

This February issue, as one might imagine, has a special focus on the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
“At a time when tourism is increasingly searching for meaning beyond numbers, Milano Cortina 2026 has the chance to present a plural, accessible and layered Italy, where sport becomes the starting point for movement, observation and temporary belonging. An Olympics not confined to stadiums, but experienced through travel itself.”

This issue of Gate takes an in-depth look at Estonia — small in size, yet unexpectedly rich in landscapes, history, and contemporary perspectives. A destination that reveals itself quietly and leaves a lasting impression.
It also turns its attention to the Red Sea, not simply as a beach destination but as a fully immersive landscape, where land and water flow seamlessly into one another. The Red Sea is explored through two features, focusing on the Egyptian coast and the Saudi coast.

But there is also fashion, with an in-depth feature on Kanuk, a Canadian brand whose mission is to create outerwear designed for the unique climate and lifestyle of Québec. And on Patta, a Dutch streetwear brand.
Then the gaze is cast forward, toward trends and must-haves for men in spring–summer 2026. And finally, a story by Paolo Gelmi on Studio Zeta, one of the most important and representative showrooms in the city of Milan.

From Rome to Milan, the events and exhibitions that open with the start of the Olympics. And that we will be able to visit throughout the spring.

For digital travelers, the new technologies that are set to revolutionize travel in 2026.

Advice on taking care of your body and your skin, and on beauty products.
Then two in-depth features. One on Cryotherapy, the practice that uses extreme cold in a controlled way as a wellness tool. And one on Mindfulness for children.

News from Italian airports, and in particular from those involved in Olympic traffic flows. Milan, Malpensa and Linate, Venice and Verona.

Finally, as always, a special focus on Rome, with two articles, one dedicated to the Roman Carnival and one to the squares of Rome.

If you think that’s all, you’re wrong. There is still so much to discover in this issue of Gate Magazine.

Enjoy your reading!
