In our Italia Slow Tour column we present the fourth of the five travel stories that jointly won the Per Caso TV Literary Prize, which concluded in January. The author is Jacopo Scafaro, who takes us to his Sardinia, a land that represents not only his heritage, but also, as he writes, a deep and visceral sense of belonging.

June has always been the month of light, spontaneous journeys, evenings that seem to last forever and almost physical desire to slow down, even if only for a few days.
