Read Gate Mag 61

The new issue of Gate Magazine is now available – the bilingual free press magazine distributed in Rome’s airports and the Duty Free shops of Milan airports – Malpensa and Linate – as well as Bergamo, Treviso, Venice, Bologna and Naples. You can also read it online at this link.

April is the time when travel once again becomes a natural choice – less planned, more instinctive, able to fit into everyday life without forcing it. Destinations reveal themselves without seasonal filters, and even the most familiar places regain a more human scale, made of of details and pauses.

The destinations explored in this issue of Gate include Umbria, a region that surprises with the variety of its landscapes and its beautiful hill towns. Paris in a weekend: «A weekend is enough to graspe its essence, provided you follow the rhythm of its neighborhoods rather than by a checklist of must-see attractions.» Costa Rica, a compact yet incredibly diverse country where nature dominates every landscape and the very concept of travel becomes one of total immersion. And finally, Barbados, listed by Lonely Planet among the must-see destinations of 2026: one of the most complete, authentic, and fascinating places to visit this year.

As always, we also talk about fashion, with features dedicated to the brands VSTARSMILANO, Veev, and Neighborhood.

You’ll also find, by Enza Pietrangelo, a review of Michael, the biographical film about Michael Jackson and one of the most anticipated releases of 2026, along with a portrait of digital artist Anderson Tegon.

From Rome to Milan, discover the events and exhibitions opening right now. One standout among them all: Milan Design Week, together with its Fuorisalone.

Advice on how to take care of your body and skin, along with Beauty product recommendations, because April is the month of renewal and natural beauty.

Then, two in-depth features: Spring Wellness 2026: New Rituals and New Balances and Truly Slowing Down: Mindfulness Against Burnout.

As always, you’ll also find the latest news from Italian airports.

This month, we leave Rome behind and set out to discover, beyond the clichés, four cities through two articles: Hidden Milan and Turin and Hidden Bologna and Bari.

And if you think that’s all, you’d be mistaken. There’s still so much more to discover in this issue of Gate Magazine.

Happy reading!
